I would like to commend you and your team on a great event at Alumbra yesterday, 26/7/05.

The food and venue were great and the people who partook were a nice group. I think having a speed dating event with something a little different, ie the salsa lesson, helped to make everyone a bit more at ease and feel more relaxed.

I have attended speed dating events before with different organisations and in comparison found them to be very crowded with people sitting side by side hence becoming very noisy and hard to communicate with your "date". Having a smaller group with the opportunity to spread out at the venue proved to be much more successful.

I would also especially like to commend the host for the evening, Nicolas, who proved to be enthusiastic and welcoming ensuring that the night ran smoothly and was fun for all. Please extend my congratulations to him.

I have thoroughly enjoyed both of the FI evenings I have attended and am very impressed with FI - the website, the people and most of all the style and frequency of communication - all awesome and make it all feel so personal. Somehow you manage to remove the sterility of internet comms! Well done.

My focus with FI is to make new friends and anything else is a bonus - and a couple of the guys I have met at the FI events thought that was a good idea and that changed their approach to the evening as well. I am just so impressed with what appears to be a very high quality of FI members - all such nice people and so easy to talk to. It would be nice to be able to make female friends as well - but the evening doesn't quite lend itself to that I guess!

Anyway - thanks for the Elite status - wow! Trouble is finding the time to meet up with all these matches!!
